Daddy Hell Care

Storyboard

To the right is a storyboard plan of how the trailer will be set out, the first clip will display the father (Miles) laying down on the bed and the camera shot will zoom in on me from a birds eye view my eyes will remain shut until the came becomes really close.

The red items in each clip symbolise danger and a sense of warning as well as blood this adds more to the effect of our trailer being a horror gerne overall.

The second clip displays both the father and the son (Jay) involved in the conversation and the camera zooms into towards the sons face to show his facial expression which will be a close-up shot. After that the third shot captures the father and son looking at each other at this point the father is walking upstairs we will create this effect with a low angle shot, this shot is quite effective as it also shows the father being more dominant in the situation.

In the fourth shot it shows the son a fair ditance away from the phone as he is looking to approach it to call his friends about the news in whis his father said. Next in the fifth clip the ason then tells his friends about them being able to come round to his house (this information was passed down from his father during the second clip).

The sixth clip then displays the son viewing something from a far, this will be a long shot and partly and establishing shot as it would also show the surrounding area which this is all taking place in.

Target Audience

The target audienece for the horror trailer will be 15 the main reason being is that there are many horror films that are at this age rating, for example 'Orphan', 'Zombieland' and 'Lesbian Vampire Killers'. Another reason for it being this rating would be because there will be no sexual contenet involved in it.

The range of shots we have we will use for the trailer will keep the audience suspicious as the enemy will not be revealed and you would only see glimpses. This type of trailer has a strong effect that would want to make you go and watch the film itself.

The interviews which will be displayed in the trailer will also help build to the tension and it will be left as a cliff hanger leaving the audience wanting to know more therefore leading back to the main reason for them wanting to see the film.
