Props

The props which my group and I used for our horror trailer included..

White mask - This mask was used to hide identity so that the victimcs of the killer didnt know who was killing them as the killers face was not revealed. This adds an effect towards the audeince that would make them want to go and see he film it it were in the cinemas because they would want to find out who is doing all of these killings. The fact that the mask kept one facial expression you could not see the type of emotions which the killer was not shown from the killer behind the mask.

Knife - We used a knife in the trailer to act as the muredrous weapon that would be used in order to help with all of he killings, as I picekd it up in the trailer it already had blood on it as if I had already used it for some previous killings. Even though the knife was shown in the trailer we didnt use it for any of the killings and I admit this is wear we had an error. I think that we didnt end up using it because it was a real knife and to of made it look realistic it would have been a dangerous weapon to use.

Black Hoody - The black hoody was also used to cover up identitity so that the majority of the killers body was hidden so that it did not give off a clear view of how I, me being the killer was potrtaited. Being completly different to the my character when hes out of the killing identity. The reasonn behind the hoody being black is because that represents my character being bad/evil, scheming and conniving.

Target Audience

Tennagers - The target audience for our trailers would teenagers that around the ages of fifteen and above because thats the age rating that we put on the trailer and the majority of teenagers would watch this trailer as us being teenagers ourselves feel like they can relate to it in the same way due to the characters that are involved in the trailer.

Music Choices

The only music which we used in our trailer was the 'Sick Puppies - Going Down' song, some of the audience feedbak which we gathered said that they felt the music was slightly a bit to emosih and they did not think it was apporiate as they heard swearing in the song. We used this song because the tone of the music is very loud and sounds as it is very violent which overall links to the drink blooding effects and transition used in the trailer.

Shots List

Tracking Shot - A tracking shot was used when Sami was running away from me (the killer) and He ran through the lounge and into a room which the camera followed. This shot was used to show fear, with him running away being a coward.

High Angle Shot - A high angle shot was used when the younger version of myself in the trailer was being chased down the staris by the bullies towards the beginning, this shows that he is becoming inferior ashes is clearly out numbered, as well as being used when I was walking up the stairs this has an opposite effect where im becoming superior as I have grown older.

Low Angle Shot - This was show at the end of the trailer when jordan (playing as the son walks off after the battle) and I have had a fight and he walks off and I say 'S-s-s-son! Come back!..' This then shows tat I am now inferior towards jordan, me being on the floor an him walking off.

Close Up Shot - We had many close up shots so that facial expressions were shown throughout the trailer and the audience could communicate with this through the emotional times. This also displayed a detail image of what is within the shot at the time.
